Community Action Fareham has an extensive range of equipment for hire to Members at a nominal cost. 

To hire a piece of equipment, simply email or give us a call and we will check its availability.  Tell us the date and time, and we will book the item for you.  If you are unsure about using the equipment, we will book time to give you a lesson.  For some equipment a cash deposit may be required.

When you come to pick up, we will check that the equipment is in working order and ask you to sign for receipt of the equipment.   

The list of equipment includes but is not limited to the following.  Please ask about anything else you may need.  

Badge Maker £5 per day

Great as an attraction at open days and fayres. Badge components can be supplied and charged per unit (15p).  Artwork template is available as a Publisher file by clicking here, or PDF here. Instructions on use of the badge maker is available by clicking here.  

Gazebo £7 per day

Easy to set-up and makes an ideal focus for a fayre or activity. Must have weights to hold it down.

Laptop £5 per day, Projector & Screen £15 per day for both, or £10 for projector only

An ideal way to view presentations.  Just link the laptop to the digital projector so that your work can be viewed on the large screen. 

Video Camera £5 per day

Choice of Digital Visual or Flip camera. Batteries, leads and carry bag included. 

Loop System £10 per day

Essential for disability access, this portable system enables people with a hearing impairment to tune into meetings or training sessions.   

Public Address System £5 per day

Helpful at a fete or large meeting. The system has two mounted speakers and hand held or lapel microphone.

Portable Appliance Tester £45 for first 4 days, then £5 per subsequent day 

Test your own portable appliances.  If you need to have your staff or volunteers trained in the use of PAT testing equipment, contact Community Action Fareham Training.   

Display Boards £5 per day 

A great way to display information.  Choice of freestanding boards or smaller table top boards. Both sets are foldable and come in a carry case. Instructions on how to put the boards together are available by clicking here
